We fight about money all the time. Can coaching really help?

Yes. Money fights are one of the most common issues couples face, and they are almost never just about the money. We don’t just focus on the numbers; we help you understand the deeper issues behind your conflicts, such as your individual beliefs and upbringing around money. Our goal is to replace conflict with collaboration and build a foundation of open, honest communication so you can stop fighting and start building your future together.

While our coaching involves deep, honest conversations, it is not therapy. Financial coaching is focused on forward movements, setting specific goals, creating a plan, and building practical habits. Think of it as a blend of financial guidance and communication skills development. If underlying issues arise that require deeper psychological work, we can refer you to a financial therapist or counselor.

Absolutely. Many couples come to us with different money personalities, which is often the source of their stress. Instead of trying to force one person to change, we help you understand and appreciate each other’s perspective. We then work with you to create a shared financial vision that incorporates both your values and goals, creating a powerful team dynamic rather than a constant battle.

Our coaching process begins with a free, no-pressure Discovery Call to ensure we are a good fit for one another. From there, we will typically work together over several months. Sessions focus on understanding your individual “money stories,” setting mutual goals, creating a spending plan, and building healthy, lasting habits. Many clients continue with occasional check-ins after the initial program to stay on track.

We operate on a foundation of trust and non-judgment. You are in a safe space where you can share as much as you are comfortable with. However, honesty and transparency are critical for making progress. Our process is designed to help you and your partner feel safe enough to be fully open about your finances so you can address issues head-on, without shame.

The decision to have joint, separate, or a combination of accounts is entirely up to you. Our coaching focuses on aligning your financial values and creating a shared plan, regardless of how you structure your accounts. We will help you find a solution that feels fair and comfortable for both of you.

Yes! Premarital financial coaching is an excellent way to start your life together with clarity, confidence, and shared systems. Having open and honest conversations about money before you tie the knot can help you avoid many future conflicts and build a stronger foundation.

We offer several coaching packages to fit your needs, from short-term intensives to ongoing support. Pricing details are available on our Services page. We encourage you to start with our free Discovery Call to discuss your situation and see which option is best for you.

Real change takes time, but many couples feel a sense of relief and hope after their very first session. The work you do in our program is designed to create lasting change in your habits, communication, and mindset around money. Most couples start to see significant improvements in their communication and financial confidence within the first three months of working with us.

It’s common for one partner to initiate coaching. We create an environment where both partners feel safe and respected. By focusing on mutual goals and personal values, we work to get both individuals invested and engaged in the process. Progress often becomes easier once both partners start to see and feel the positive changes in their financial and relational well-being.
