Hi, I’m Sylvie.

I’m a wife, mom, nurse practitioner, first-generation African immigrant, and the founder of Beyond Financial Reset.

In my work as a nurse practitioner, I’ve helped people have difficult conversations about their health and their future. Those conversations taught me how much it matters to feel heard when something important is at stake.

Money can feel that way in a relationship, too.

A conversation about spending might also be about security. A disagreement about helping family might hold years of love, sacrifice, and expectation. Two people can want the same future and still struggle to talk about how to get there.

I understand those layers personally. As an immigrant, wife, mother, and professional, I know that money is rarely just a set of numbers. It carries our histories, responsibilities, hopes, and fears.

That’s why I created Beyond Financial Reset and the Couples Money Date Kit. I wanted couples to have a way to sit down together, ask better questions, and make a plan without losing their connection in the process.

Through practical tools and financial education, I help couples:
